We have had a tough year and saw a crisis which was unprecedented in our living history. But even through these trying times, whenever something new in fashion came up and was the rave, it utterly disappointed me. The Fashion fanatic part of my brain kept looking for more but was let down. What I felt and questioned was that why could the most creative minds in the world, not come up with something awe inspiring while they had even more time on their hands during lockdowns. For me, there was nothing new in fashion that could rekindle my thrill of styling.

While I felt that these were times where the future of fashion was to be re-imagined, a small little spark in fashion came up and stirred things up for me.

Remember the times when our mothers wore matching figure hugging shirts paired with huge shalwars in small adorable floral prints. Yes, this trend is back again! In many words the ‘matching separates’ that we have been seeing in western wear, now has taken over eastern wear also.
