LOGOMANIA

They say, ‘Fashion has no boundaries.’

I say, ‘Fashion has become shameless.’

With every passing time, our styles have become unrestrained and more so, unconcealed. One of the most potent example for this, would be the trending ‘logomania’.

Hate me if you want, but I would blatantly admit that I, including many others, have become accustomed to it. And we, like it.

To defend this behaviour of mine, I would say, that might be because anything that the fashion world embraces, becomes a trend and in turn becomes acceptable to many. So, is the case with the trending ‘Logomania’. A trend in which ‘subtle’ is not the point and nowhere to be found.

We have held ourselves back for a long time. There were times when the brands we styled, were revealed more in a subtle way. As for now, the more in your face, you show which design house your preferring that day, the bolder and eye catching your style becomes.

While the good thing about this trend remains that ‘logomania’ is less about showing off the brand but more of the design house’s flair and philosophy of the design.

Another familiar form of logomaia are the ‘initials’.

Playful as it might be, don’t shy away from logo-ing down from head to toe.  This trend certainly is sleek but edgy, dominating and fierce. No wonder, they are every brand’s best sellers these days.
